Together, they’ll take the stage for a powerful night benefiting Camp Southern Ground’s Warrior Programs and the veterans and military families we serve. It’s a chance to experience great music, hear remarkable stories, and see firsthand what can happen when talent, service, and purpose come together.
Schaefer Mueller is a native of Virginia and spent his life in VA until he left for the Army. He is a Combat Veteran who served with the 4th Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division. Schaefer specialized in explosives, mountaineering, and Airborne operations. He deployed as an attachment to an ODA team in Afghanistan. After the Army, he began letting his music be heard. He began booking shows in local bars, expanding to regional shows, and creating a following of loyal fans. While he is a full-time musician, he is also a scientist and researcher currently working at LSU Health. Schaefer is a member of the Texas Country Music Association, Nashville Songwriters Association International, and an Operation Encore artist.
Rachel Harvey Hill is a Nashville based songwriter whose writing style has been described as “heart-warming” and “imaginative”. Her multi-genre song catalog is influenced by her strong faith, her life as a military spouse, and her journey of motherhood. Rachel is a Bluebird Cafe "Golden Pick" winner and has been recognized as a “Ones to Watch” by the Nashville Songwriters Association International. Additionally, she was the 2019 winner of the pop/rock category in the New England Songwriters Competition for her song "Like Lightning". As an Operation Encore artist, Rachel regularly travels the US performing for veteran and military causes.
JB Brown: is a Southern California native and country artist whose music blends heartfelt storytelling with a rock ’n’ roll edge. A proud U.S. Marine Corps veteran, JB served 12 years before retiring due to combat-related injuries sustained in Iraq. After beginning his career in the Los Angeles rock scene, he followed his passion for country music and has since earned more than 80 million streams worldwide. His music reflects his experiences and love of authentic country storytelling. His resilience and authenticity shine through in his music, blending raw storytelling with heartfelt melodies
